Hello lovelies and welcome to this part of the Clique Kits May Blog Hop! I am so very happy you have stopped by! If you are participating in the Blog Hop, you more than likely came here from the lovely Hannah Lemieux blog. To find the next stop on the hop, be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom! If you wish to start back at the beginning, be sure to visit the Clique Kits blog first. Also, be sure to Like/Comment on each post in the hop to be entered into a prize drawing (full details on the Clique Kits blog.)
But first, I have a little inspiration for you, using the Clique Kits May Riga kit. This kit was packed with Pinkfresh Studio products that featured lovely rose gold, pinks and peachy colors, and all around stunning products for us! I had a photo of a flower we saw in the garden shop, and even though we did not purchase it, I still took a photo because it was so beautiful!
I have a favorite traveler’s notebook that I love to document my gardening, so I grabbed that plus my photo and got to work. I absolutely LOVE the iDSN cut file from Clique Kits, and chose to cut it in the most delicate rose colored card stock I could find. I wanted just a little bit of contrast with the white background, but not too much to take away from my photo.
I cut the doily in fourths and adhered half on the top part of the page, and the other half on the bottom part of the page. I wanted my title to be my journaling, so I used the rose gold alphabet stickers to write “Such Beauty All Around Us,” using the curve of the cut file.
My photo is on the left side of the layout, tucked partially into the bottom half of the cut file. I added just a few tiny die cut embellishments below the photo and at the top of the page.
For the last little detail I scattered some random confetti across the page, some gold, some pink, and glued them down using my glue pen. My technique for that is so simple: literally hold the confetti in your hand and move your hand around the page, as if you were sowing seeds. Adhere the sequins wherever they land.

Hello lovelies, I often get questions how to print digital scrapbook supplies, and especially how to print on A4 size paper, so I am sharing this tutorial for how I accomplish that. This tutorial focuses on the differences between 8.5×11 and A4 size, but it can really be useful for printing to size on ANY size paper!
I hope this tutorial is helpful to you! I welcome your suggestions and requests for videos and tutorials that help you streamline your process, and most importantly help you uncomplicate your memory keeping!
Hello lovelies, Happy Tuesday to you! Did you have an awesome scrappy weekend? It was International Scrapbooking Day and I had the honor of hosting TWO lovely challenges so I wanted to share those challenges here with you!
My first challenge is up on the Clique Kits Facebook group and is a pocket page challenge. I created this lovely layout as inspiration.
I also created a process video and I invite you to view the video and then participate in the challenge!
My second challenge is over on the Scrap Gals Facebook group, and also is all about pocket pages! This is the layout I created for that challenge.
I also created a process video for inspiration! I hope you will view the video and then join the challenge!
And that video, you guys, marks my 400th YouTube video!!!!! I have been sharing my process videos here and on YouTube for more than three years now, and the 400 videos are such an important part of my love and commitment to you and to our community. They have helped me grow as an artist and scrapbooker, and formed the beginning of the Larkindesign brand and the jumping off point for everything you see here. THANK YOU for following along on my journey!!!! It has always only been my hope to inspire others, with my stories, with my art, and with this brand. Thank you for being a distinguished part of that.
I also have a little give-away that I announced a few days ago, and the time has come to announce the lovely winner! On the first of the month I released my May digital collection called Ordinary Moments and asked you to tell me ways someone shows you love right now. You answered with so many beautiful, loving answers, both here and on YouTube. I invite you to read all the lovely comments on my channel, and today I wish to share the winner!
I counted 15 lovely comments, so I jotted them down and threw them in a bowl.
