Crafty Christmas In July | December Daily 2018 Days 14 and 15!!!!
Hello Lovelies! I am here today with another layout from my 2018 December Daily album for Days 14 and 15. If you’d like to see all the posts in this series I invite you to check it all out here: Larkindesign December Daily 2018. Here is my full process video for today’s layout.
Let’s take a closer look at these fun pages in my 2018 December Daily album!
For Day 14 I had a photo of our Christmas tree. This is a detail photo that is taken from my perspective on the living room sofa. I love the twinkle of the lights and the detail captured in this photo! I have chosen to use products from Felicity Jane in this layout. These are kits from the past two or three years, Holly, Joy, and Hello Christmas.
My photo is a bit dark and dramatic, so it was important to me to keep the rest of the layout light, while still incorporating the black and white theme I have going. For my photo I layered a green branch with a red chipboard circle.
Underneath the photo is a 4×6 journal card that I created with the black and white floral. I adhered a graph paper 3×4 card and the Holly girl on top, and then added my journaling. I also stamped the magic and the stars as well.
Here you can see how I added my date: I cut the star transparency in half and then layered a shipping tag on top. I stamped the day number and added the 14 with the puffy stickers, and tied a little bow using red twine.
On the back I added the number 15, and then attached both tags with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.
Day 15 was just a few photos of my wearing my favorite Santa hat, the pink one. I have continued the black and white with red and a bit of green as well here.
For this page I had (4) 3×4 pockets, so I decided to use two of the photos and two journal cards, alternating. I chose the pretty wreath here at the top and added a tiny rubber word strip at the bottom. I added a simple chipboard banner to the top of my photo here as well.
I used the diagonal stripe card for my journaling below. I layered the silver heart and the label on top of the stripe for a bit of embellishing, so simple. I then added a tiny half circle chipboard to the bottom of my second photo.
These layouts bring me so much joy every year! I am so very happy to share them with you and thank you for joining me! See you again soon!
