Hi there and welcome to Day 19! It is flying by fast, so hang on. I’ve got a process video today for Days 17-19 and I hope you enjoy.
So my story for Day 19 was our adventure to see the Christmas lights at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. Here is Day 19 as I created it for my Foundation Pages:
I decided to add a photo insert with journaling on the back.
On the left side, which is the back of Day 18, I added a photo of one of the arches directly to the page protector, and layered my glittered title on top.
For the photo insert, I chose a photo of one of the inflatable nutcrackers and then I layered one of the digital brushes from the Ali Edwards Storytelling set on top.
Here is the journaling on the back, which is really just a little write up about why I love Christmas lights so much!
On the right facing side I really didn’t do much. I had one more pocket to fill, so I stapled in some starburst sequins, and called it done. In case you are wondering, the number 19 is sewn over top of the patterned paper to create a pocket. I added gold circle confetti to echo the gold circles on the patterned paper.
The top pockets on this side hold one of the Ali Edwards transparencies with a snowflake layered on top. I love it so much!
Here is the layout inside the album:
I just love how this day turned out and I especially love how quickly it came together, since the foundation pages were so well done. My album is getting quite thick – I am both relieved that the month is winding down, but also almost sad to see it end! Still a ton to do though, so time to go, do and create.
See you soon,
**December Daily is the creative brainchild of scrapbooking genius Ali Edwards, and is a process of documenting December memories by photographing and writing stories each day. To learn more about this project, and find links to shop for products, please visit her website here.
The numbers 18 and 20 are part of the set of subway numbers that I purchased from a local shop called Vintage Jane, here in Kernersville, NC. The blog for this shop can be seen here.
Occasionally in my projects I use items that, sadly, are discontinued or no longer available but they still deserve attribution. The starburst sequins are old Jenni Bowlin products from two years ago.
