{December Daily 2016} Introduction and First Process Video | Creating the Album Itself!!!

Oh you guys, it’s the very best time of the year and the very best project of the whole year! I seriously get a giant lump in my throat every year when it is time to begin December Daily, and this year is no different! Here is my Introduction Video for this year:

And then, because that just isn’t enough for one day, I am also sharing my process video for how I created my album this year:

My album this year is an American Crafts album that was originally 12×12, and I cut it down to 6×12. Once I cut it down, I covered it in several coats of white heavy body gesso.

I then added a few simple embossed images to the front: the December stamp is from the Paislee Press stamp set included in that kit from Ali Edwards, designed by Liz Tamanaha. The 2016 stamp is from Kerri Bradford. I also added the tiny round Joy piece, from the Ali Edwards Main kit.

On the spine, since there was no label holder I only added this image from one of the art screens available in the December Daily offerings from Ali Edwards. I used Heidi Swapp art paints, and the result is beautiful.

I also have a few sneaks from inside the album to share with you! I plan to share my process for creating my foundation pages, start to finish, in the next few days.
