Disney Project Life Layout 04!!!!
So let me show you how the layout looked with just photos and journal cards in place. I chose a lot of white cards in this layout in order to maintain a light feeling across the page.
And here is the completed layout. Notice I made a few changes to the layout visually.
I realize this card doesn’t show up very well, but I did add some acrylic stars from Shimelle’s Starshine collection.
I think my favorite element of the layout are the word sticker and arrows in silver glitter gliding across the photo of the Astro-Glider! They are perfect for that page!
I had not been to Disney in twenty years (!!!!) so the concept of Fastpasses was totally new to me. I will write about that more later, but for now this photo says a little about where we started out adventure.
I will admit that there is not a lot to this layout, and that is ok. I feel like we spent a little time at the beginning overwhelmed and bewildered inside the park, trying to figure out what ride to go on first, dealing with all the people, so this is a breathing page.
This was one of the design decisions that I made – to change out this journaling card. It adds some visual weight to the page, which I perhaps would do a little differently in hindsight, but it really is ok too right where it is. This card also adds a countdown element, which is just fun!
There are so many views of the Castle from all directions around the park, so here is another view from the back. Simple layered embellishments on this photo because it didn’t really need much.
The only thing I added across the bottom of this layout is the stamped image to the Adventure card. Also note the acrylic clouds on the red journaling card – I love how that turned out!
Ok I will see you all back tomorrow with my TBT series!
