Hi guys! Happy end of the week to you! I am switching up from the norm today and showing you my process for creating a traditional layout. I know, I know, it has been a while! So have a look-see:
So my jumping off point for this layout was the photo and the cut file that was part of the Gossamer Blue July kit. This photo definitely goes down as one of my favorites ever (!!!). You may see it again even.
The first thing I did as soon as I opened my cut files from Gossamer Blue, was run some white cardstock through my Silhouette! I also offset the cut lines in the Silhouette and cut those out of some of the patterned papers included in the kit.
I knew I wanted the photo on the upper left hand corner, so I grabbed some of the other patterned papers and cut those down as layers.
I could not resist using these acrylic alphas. I wish there was a whole set of these! Of course I added other embellishments and stamped images around the photo as well.
As one little bit of extra to complete the layout, I also added a cluster of embellishments here on the lower corner of the page too.
Alright, have a great weekend and thanks for joining me today! I will be back on Tuesday for Project Life 2016 next week, as I am doing some work to the Etsy shop right now and trying to carve a little time to get that ready!
