You guys, I am so excited to share a special bonus layout with you! I have asked my very talented friend Marie Lottermoser, of Stitch In Time, to share a layout with you. Marie is most well-known for her amazing December Daily albums and she works just absolute magic with paper and pockets. Have a peek!
I’m sharing a spread I made using The Heart is Home collection. Every once in awhile I like to make a Pocket Life page about what our home currently looks like (mess and all) and this collection was perfect for it.
I start my pages with my photos which I print out at home. Next I add in journaling, this time using the “Stories of Home” card. Finally, I add in my pocket cards and embellishments. For me, pocket cards are the best part of making pages, and help bring the whole layout together.
For this page I printed out a couple of the pocket cards on matte photo paper, and then for fun I printed out the rest on an inkjet transparency. I even used one of the digital papers from this collection to make a 3×4 see-through card. I used the transparent cards layered both over and under photos and cards, and for fun I slipped in a few sequins. I love how it turned out.
