Hi everyone, today I am excited to have Creative Team member Neftali Zambrano on the blog! Be sure to check out her About Me page where you can learn more about her and also connect with her on social media.
Hi there, it’s Neftali here to share some wonderful Travelers Notebook inspiration using this month’s digital collection, Grow Deeper Roots. I have loved using these digitals in all sorts of ways this month. The bold purples and teals are a perfect combination with the ever soft pinks. Theresa really knows how to match her collections beautifully!
So, today I’m here to share this Traveler’s Notebook spread using a good mix of the collection, I can’t wait to tell! Take a look:
First of all, I gotta admit that I don’t hop into my Travelers Notebook very often. But I fell in love with this pink card I had printed in 6×8 and wanted to use it as a full sized page on half of my spread. This card has a beautiful quote written on top thay says “Love is all you need.”
I embellished lightly with some golden splatters above the quote and on the bottom I used the beautiful leaves from the Digital Printable sheets. The cork butterfly came from One Canoe Two. I love how it brings your eyes to the quote.
On the right half of my spread I used another 4×6 card, printed in 4×6 format, as an off-center backing to my photo (those blacks and whites are SUPER cute!). I added more of the cut aparts including the flowers, leaves and the label above my photo, with the date.
I finished it all off with a few more splatters under my photo cluster.
Lastly, the two cork corner embellishments that brought together all of the brown and pink tones from my photo and embelishments together so well!
Speaking of which, I love this sweet moment with me and my forever growing boy.
My favorite part about keeping these memories inside of my travelers notebook is that I can flip thru them so much easier than 12×12 books. I’m not quick to finish the notebooks, but I sure have been loving filling them as I find I inspiration.
So, how about your own Traveler’s Notebooks? Have you thought about getting outside the box and finding a new use of your Larkindesign digital collections? I’d invite you to try some of these pretties outside of your pocket pages, and share with us what you create!
Thanks for stopping by today, until next time, stay crafty!
