Hi friends! I am so excited to show you my planner for this week because I have used some beautiful products from a fellow YouTuber, Aneika Walton of Fabulously Creative! I have been following her for a little while now and love all her work and talent and creativity. Please be sure to check out her Youtube channel, Etsy shop, and blog! I will link all of those up at the end. Take a look at my process video using her gorgeous products:
Before I started decorating this week’s page. I sprayed the background with Heidi Swapp gold spray and heart template. Then I set about adding some of Fabulously Creative’s stickers.
Now Fabulously Creative designs her products to use in a Kikki K planner, and mine is Heidi Swapp. That really doesn’t bother me a bit – I think if you love the products then use them up!
One of the things I love is that these stickers gave me three areas on each day. I use one area to write down our schedule that day, such as doctor appointments or lunch dates. Another area I use to jot down what blog posts are going live that day to help me plan those. The third space I can use for lists that I need to keep track of each day.
On my dashboard I like to keep my running to-do lists from week to week. These glitter stickers are perfect for that.
So much to inspire me for this week and I hope you are inspired too! Here are links to Fabulously Creative!
Hi there! New week means new planner layout, so take a look at how I embellished my planner this week.
I received my Ali Edwards Project Life Storytelling kit last week and was delighted that the stamp set has the days of the week included! So I knew already I was going to use those. I had already misted the pages with my Heidi Swapp spray mist and heart stencils, which I just adore.
I chose a simple gold heart washi to embellish across the top. I also chose a thin navy washi to create the divisions between the days.
For the numbers I decided to use the Fitzgerald alpha set from Cedar Lane, and while I was pulling those I came across the word strips, so I added those in some places as well.
Thursday of this week is an important day – our son is going into the hospital for some outpatient blood work. If you are the praying type, say a few prayers and positive thoughts for him on that day! I added a few word strips on that day, just to provide some space to acknowledge that as a big day for us.
For my dashboard, I wanted to use these speech bubbles, they are old stickers from IKEA from last spring and I have had them laying around forever! But I thought they would be cute to write my to-do lists for this week. I added some of the word strips and stamps from Ali’s stamp set, and called it done.
Very quick and easy embellishing this week, and I am glad I have some pretty things to look at while we work our way through this week. I hope you have an inspired and creative week too!
See you soon,

Ok I am going to start with a slight disclaimer: my plan was to create planner layouts that are simple, but I am not so sure this week’s layout is quite so simple! But I love it and it is bright and fun and inspiring. Take a look here:
So I had already misted the pages with Heidi Swapp’s spray mist and a star stencil from Crafter’s Workshop. I went through my washi tapes and found my Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy washi, and that led me to pull out that entire collection to embellish with.
I think when Elizabeth Kartchner designed this line, she must have been thinking about planners too, because there are actually a couple of cute pieces in the collection that are great for planners. I started with the washi tape that says Fine & Dandy. Then I added a gold 5 so I can keep up with the week we are in.
At the top of the page I added a round sentiment from the collection and a green polka dot washi strip.
For each of the days I laid down the washi tape and used a set of numbers that came from Ali Edwards’ Heart Story kit this month. I also added heart and star stickers next to each of the numbers. They go perfect right there.
I also used glitter letters to note the days of the week. Thin washi separates each day.
For the dashboard I used the list portion of the washi tape and I clipped a floral embellishment to the side. (Not so) Simple but done and lovely. Ready for the busy week ahead.
I hope you have a great week this week. Some fun stuff planned for this week to share with you! Now go, do and create!
See you soon!
