Everything has been quiet here on the blog and my YouTube this month but I did want to stop in and say thank you for being here, thank you for following along in all the Larkindesign adventures, and don’t go anywhere!!!! I am taking a little much-needed time off to refresh and create new content for you. Sometimes you just need to fill your own tank, and I hope you will take a little time for yourself as well.
I did want to remind you that there is still a little time to grab the In My Pocket Memory Keeping Class for 50% off, until October 19th! You can click the image below and it will take you right the the class page where you can sign up. I would LOVE to have you join us! This is the only time I will offer this class at 50% off, so take advantage now.
Last week I had a little design team work that I needed to complete for Sahlin Studio, and if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, here are my layouts for the brand new Enamel Pins and Artsy pack that are now available at The Lilypad!
This is a layout for Natalie’s personal album, and I have decided on some of the kids’ layouts to do one side 12×12 and the other side pocket pages. How fun is that, and it makes it so easy to include more photos!
So I hope you will stay tuned! As soon as November starts I plan to begin sharing my December album process with you and I will be jumping back into my December 2011 album as well. So many exciting things on the horizon! See you soon!
Hi everyone, just a quick note that our class is at the half way mark! I released Lesson 04 yesterday and things are going great, but we want you in class too! So I put the class on a really good sale, at 40% off! Hooray! So the class cost is $24, you guys have to get in on this! The sale expires on Sunday, August 20 at 9PM EST.
Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my process for creating a hybrid 12×12 layout using On A Whimsical Adventure Wanderlust digital collection!
Here is the completed layout! I absolutely love being able to plan these layouts on the screen and then print only what I need. Putting the layout together is then is just FUN!
I brought in some of my Maggie Holmes Gather collection to add dimension and glitter to the layout. I also added a few epoxy flowers that I have collected over the years, from Amercian Crafts, Tim Holtz, and Donna Downey/Prima.
In other very exciting news, my class called In My Pocket Memory Keeping was launched yesterday!!! Hooray! Pre-order is now complete and I decided to keep the discounted price at $35, so you can still take advantage of that. I promise this class is worth entirely MORE than that and is chock filled with ideas and inspiration. It is entirely self-led, although until September 28 I will release one lesson per week. You can join in at any time! Want to learn more? Head over here!
Hi guys! Today I wanted to share a sample process video from my In My Pocket Memory Keeping class! The video is really similar to my previous pocket pages and is all about a really special occasion in our family life: the day Alan and I got engaged! Also stay tuned for pre-order information for this awesome class!
I am so excited about bringing this class to life and cannot wait for it to begin! In the meantime, I thought I would share this really special layout with you about the night Alan and I got engaged. It falls directly into my 2012 Project Life album, which is one of the albums I will be sharing in the class. Have a look at the layout!
Our engagement story is really the kind of every day moment that doesn’t really happen every day but it did happen in the very beginning of 2012 so this is the perfect place to document it. Alan and I knew very early on in our relationship that we were meant to be together, and our engagement actually felt like a given at that point! The kids already knew he was going to ask me because they needed to be involved in every step, and they were so excited! They thought it was their idea!
I decided to use my Studio Calico Documenter Kit for May 2017 called Alfresco. I loved the navy and oranges in the kit because they tie in the colors in my photos. Perfect! I had to use this geometric card for my date card, and I added the date with the alphabet stamps included in the kit. 2012 was stamped using an Ali Edwards Time stamp set.
I love the speech bubbles included in this kit, and I chose this orange one again to tie in some of the orange tones in the photos. The word yes seems highly apropos to this layout as well!
Thank you for joining me today! I do hope you will check out the video and check out the In My Pocket Memory Keeping Class which will be coming soon! Be sure to take advantage of the special rate during the pre-order period!
