Hello Lovelies and welcome back to December Daily 2019! I was trying to figure out where November went, and then I realized we usually have a week after Thanksgiving to sort of get the final prep work done for this project, but this year here we are. I wanted to share a final walk through of my Foundation Pages before the month of December begins. Follow along below.
Something I did very different this year was that I did not add numbers to many of these pages at this stage in the game. I did that mainly to give myself the flexibility to switch up between full page layouts and one page layouts, depending on the day and the events that happen. One exception was the Paislee Press page where I added the number 6, and that can still be moved pretty much any where if I wanted to!
My cover page is a cut file I designed for the Clique Kits December In My Pocket kit. That kit came with a few digital cut files and number files to round out the kit for this project. I cut this page from vellum and added a bit of Studio Calico washi tape to secure the punched holes.
The next page is also a Foundation Page for Clique Kits, using the Pink Paislee and Pinkfresh Studio elements from the kit. The number 10 is a sample I cut from wood grain vellum using one of the digital number files and it might stay that way or I may cut a different number to suit the day.
When you turn the vellum you find just a few pockets with the red patterned paper from Pinkfresh and a journal card from Pink Paislee.
I created a few pages using the Sahlin Studio Holly Days collection as well. I printed the star patterned paper onto vellum and just added the JOY journaling card. Very simple.
You have already seen the Elle’s Studio pages I created, but I thought I would include them here as well. I started out with a 2×2 pocket page and filled them all with fun bits and bobs from the kit. So much fun!
I always love having see-through elements in my December albums, and I had so much fun adding wood, transparency, acrylic, and die cut pieces here.
When you turn the 2×2 page you find a couple of 3×4 cards that were simply my favorites from the kit. I added a few tiny sequins and puffy stickers just to jazz it up a bit!
The Paislee Press pages here with the Ali Edwards white wooden number 6, which I have stamped using the Paislee Press stamp set and black Archival ink.
This page is created using Felicity Jane Noelle and a few bits from previous years as well. My concept is to place the tree transparency in between two layers of the white card stock divider. When I am ready to create this page I will make another divider to complete the divider, and then I can add the number to one of the circles.
I am not willing to confirm or deny purchasing the Noelle kit just for these acrylic trees, but regardless I am determined to include them in this album! For now this black one sits here on top of a simple red and white stripe, and a simple journal card.
I didn’t get to edit my process video for this page, but it did get made! This is a page I created using some of the Ali Edwards products for this year. I added a few journal cards and then have used the star transparency as a divider on this layout. I attached a fabric branch. I don’t have a brand for this branch, it was something I found at a local shop and wanted to include in my album somewhere. Every year I look around in various vintage shops to find fun little elements to add to my albums, it’s so much fun!
This little red patterned paper is one of my favorites from Ali Edwards this year! I added the number 8 just to see how those cute numbers contrast against the red paper.
These are also more pages I created for Clique Kits. I created the snowflake cut file myself and cut it from a glitter specialty paper that I had in my stash. The poinsettia pattern is Pink Paislee.
The cardinal is the NC state bird, so I had to include this beautiful illustration from Pink Paislee! It’s so pretty!
Another Elle’s Studio page with the transparency I made myself.
The second Paislee Press page with this gorgeous teal green color and the stars!
This is where the other Felicity Jane acrylic trees landed! I added the grey divider and then placed the acrylic trees into a 3×4 pocket. I added a few sequins as well and then sealed it up with redline tape. I am so happy to have those pretty trees in my album!
Another page from the Clique Kits class and foundation pages.
And the last one, a 2×2 page using Ali Edwards 2019 December Daily Main Kit! On to the big month! I am so excited to share this month and this project with you! See you soon!
