Hello everyone! Today is the day each month that we post sneak previews for our creative project Light The Path! Light The Path is a creative journaling project designed for survivors of trauma and provides opportunities to document growth and turning points on the healing journey. Each month this project just gets better and better and I am thrilled to share this month’s designer and the amazing digital kit she has designed for us. Our designer this month is Allison Pennington, a designer over at The Lilypad. I have been familiar with her edgy, colorful, and upbeat look for so many years and it was a delight to work with her for this month.
Our theme this month is “One Beautiful, Empowering Thing You Have Learned About Yourself.” June is the sixth month, which is our half way point for the year, so we are doing a midpoint check in to assess growth this year. This is so important on our healing journey, to recognize what we have learned along the way, so we can reclaim the power that healing gives.
Allison has used the most beautiful color palette of blue, pink, orange, and navy, plus a bit of mustard yellow. She has included some hand drawn icons of flowers, clouds, rain drops, and even a light bulb. The prompts from the cards invite us to Witness it, Accept it, and Release it.
Want to see more? Check out our Instagram, where I share other sneaks throughout the month. This month’s prompt will release on the 20th, but the last day to subscribe by the month is on June 15, 2020. Of course, you can sign up for the three month payment option at any time, and you can sign up yearly any time as well! Let’s Light The Path together!
