Hello everyone and welcome to my favorite day of the month, the day we preview the upcoming Prompt for Light The Path! If you are new here, Light The Path is our year long workshop designed for emotional healing. Each month we document important concepts in healing and you are invited to join us any time. Learn more about our workshop here: Light The Path 2020. We are coming to the end of the year with November’s prompt releasing on the 20th, and then we will finish up in December. If you are just joining us, you will receive the opportunity to walk with us through the workshop in 2021 so please stay tuned for the details about that. Today, have a look at November’s prompt!
Our November prompt is about grief. Grief is an inherent part of the human experience. Even if you’ve never lost a loved one, you probably have experienced other losses that come with being human and we are talking about all of those experiences this month. We will particularly be discussing the ways grief shows up in trauma response and will find new ways of coming to terms with those losses. Most importantly, you will learn the amazing ways you have remained strong and are continuing to thrive even with the losses you have experienced. We hope you will find comfort this month, and we think the digital kit will help you express the wonderful things you will learn about yourself.
Our digital collection is designed by Allison Pennington, one of the outstanding designers over at The Lilypad. Allison has designed other kits for us this year and this kit is going to wow you once again. Her bright color palettes bring joy and power to our documentation, and her words and artwork sets a mood of strength for us. Allison always includes lots of journaling spots and cards so you will have lots of space to write. Her kits always have an edge too, which makes me feel like a bit of a bada$$ when I’m using them!
This promises to be a comforting experience for you, especially if you are struggling with feelings of sadness right now. You can join the workshop at any time, and you can also sign up on a monthly basis. Cancel any time, but I think you will want to stay with us. Also we will announce the dates for the 2021 Workshop very soon, so stay tuned for that! See you in the Workshop.
